Many soaps and cleansers are poorly tolerated by dry, sensitive skin sufferers. A primary culprit is sodium lauryl sulphate- a common foaming agent used in many soap free cleansers that creates a great lather, but is a known irritant.
Dry, sensitive skin would benefit from a gentler alternative: Dermeze Soap Free Wash works with the mild foaming agent sodium lauroyl sarcosinate and moisture-boosting glycerol. This pH-balanced formula leaves skin feeling clean, soft and smooth, without stripping the skins surface of natural, protective oils. Being oil-free, it wont clog pores either.
This hypoallergenic, pH-balanced body wash and facial cleanser uses gentle ingredients to refresh dry, itchy or sensitive skin.
Apply a small amount to wet skin and gently massage into a light lather. Rinse thoroughly with water and pat skin dry.
Water, glycerin, sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, cocamidopropyl betaine, cellulose gum, imidazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, mica, titanium dioxide, citric acid, propylparaben.
F A Q
Can the whole family use it?
Yes, the Dermeze range is suitable for the entire family, including infants, adults and the elderly. This cleanser is hypoallergenic, oil free, fragrance free and pH-balanced. Its available in 250mL, 500mL pump and one-litre pump packs, making it perfect for everyone to use as a body and shower gel as well as facial cleanser.
What is sodium lauroyl sarcosinate and why is it better for people with dry skin?
Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate is a mild surfactant, which creates a light cleansing foam on the skin. Its gentler than the more common surfactants used in many cleansers for example, sodium lauryl sulphate can create a great lather on the skin but is a known irritant. Dermeze Soap Free Wash, with milder sodium lauroyl sarcosinate and hydrating, protective glycerol, gives a thorough wash but in a gentler way.
What does Dermatologist Tested mean exactly?
Dermatologists have tested Dermeze Soap Free Wash on a panel of sensitive skin subjects to be non-irritant and hypoallergenic. So it is suitable for sensitive skin and less likely to cause irritation.
