This product was recommended to my by aunt, a physician who practiced in the UK. In her last years she had a problem sleeping and found this to help her. When I travel and at home, I often have a problem sleeping, and find this does help me get a good night's sleep. I am not sure if this is its main purpose but it does the job for me.
