One in two women will experience a UTI at some time in their life.
The most common symptom is cystitis (inflammation of the bladder). It is more likely to occur in young sexually active women, pregnant women and post-menopausal and older women.
Women who have had one infection are also likely to develop another. The UTI results in a weakened urinary tract and that increases the likelihood of a second UTI, and then a third. 11% of women experience chronic UTIs (four per year) and this increases to 20% of women aged over 65.
UTIs are commonly caused by bacteria. Symptoms include:

UT Cleanse Features and Benefits
Flush: Assists in cleansing and flushing of the urinary tract to help eliminate pathogens. The clinically researched level of PACS (proanthocyanidins) derived from Cranberry, helps reduce the occurrence, frequency and irritation.
Cleanse: Dandelion, marshmallow and cornsilk have a natural diuretic action to support natural kidney and bladder cleansing and flushing of the urinary tract. This allows for complete emptying of the bladder which reduces the likelihood of developing UTIs and cystitis.
Soothe: Marshmallow is a powerful demulcent to soothe irritated tissues and maintain the mucous membrane health of the urinary tract. Cornsilk has an anti-inflammatory action to soothe irritated urinary tissue and relieve any burning sensation.
Calm: The herbs in UT Cleanse have an astringent effect to tighten and firm urinary membranes, while the demulcent effect calms irritated urinary membranes.
Ingredients
We always ensure that our products work very well and typically we use standardised ingredients. The therapeutic component of cranberry is the proanthocyanidin (PAC) level. So cranberry that has the PAC level measured, or is 'standardised' for PAC levels, ensures that you can be confident that every capsule contains that therapeutic dose of PAC and will be effective (based on research). And so the product will be effective. As with any standardised herb, PAC-standardised cranberry is much more expensive. We are committed to the best results, so we use premium quality ingredients.
How it works
UT Cleanse supports overall urinary health. It is formulated to address any microbial infection; support and soothe the epithelial membranes of the urinary tract; improve bladder detrusor muscle compliance for effective flushing and complete bladder emptying (to resolve the residual urine that is a breeding ground for bacteria); address bladder accidents and urinary incontinence (that can allow bacteria to thrive in the external urinary area and encourage the development of UTIs), and support the collagen and connective tissue underpinning the pelvic floor muscles for strong urinary sphincter control.
Directions for use
With onset of cystitis symptoms: Take 2 capsules, twice a day for 7 seven days until finished.
To maintain urinary tract health and help reduce medically diagnosed recurring cystitis: Take 2 capsules daily for 14 days until finished.
UT Cleanse can be taken short or long term. For long term use take 1 capsule daily
For relief of medically diagnosed cystitis (UTI symptom). If pain or irritation persists for more than 48 hours, consult your doctor. The presence of blood in the urine warrants immediate medical attention. Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare practitioner.
