It is a unique taonga (treasure) of New Zealand's land. Naturally occurring Methylglyoxal is an ingredient present in genuine Manuka honey.
Watson & Son guarantees that all the Manuka honey is tested and verified for its Methylglyoxal content, measured in mg /kg.

The amount of Methylglyoxal (MGO), a naturally occurring compound in Manuka Honey, is measured in milligrams per kilogram.
This new o cial standard replaces the nonperoxide activity (NPA) rating.
