Leukoplast® Leukomed® Sorbact® is a bacteria and fungi binding wound dressing, based on Sorbact® Technology. It consists of a Sorbact® DACC™-coated wound contact layer placed on an absorbent pad and a transparent backing film with an adhesive that adheres securely to the skin. The showerproof backing film protects against external contamination and allows the skin to breathe. Leukoplast® Leukomed® Sorbact® prevents and treats wound infections and facilitates the wound healing process. Sorbact® wound contact layer is shown to bind wound related pathogens up to seven days in vitro.
