Virgin coconut oil is typically liquid at around 26°C and above and becomes solid at approximately 22°C.

If the oil has solidified, it can be gently melted by placing the jar in a jug or sink of hot water until liquid.

If you are cooking or frying, you can simply scoop out the required amount and add it directly to a warm pan, where it will melt quickly.

If using a microwave, scoop out the required amount into a microwave safe dish rather than heating the whole jar. As the jar has a metal lid, the lid should never be placed in the microwave. Small amounts melt quickly, so heat in short bursts of 10 to 15 seconds.

Ingredients

Locally grown coconuts are opened and hand pressed within one hour in remote rural villages using our unique DME® coconut press. This process extracts oil directly from fresh coconut meat using gentle heat and mechanical pressure, helping preserve the natural characteristics of the oil.

This work reflects Niulife’s long standing commitment to Fairtrade principles and to enabling value to be added locally rather than exporting raw materials, such as is done with copra.

Made in a facility free of gluten, soy, nuts and dairy.

Ingredients: DME® Extra Virgin Coconut Oil.

Product of the Solomon Islands. Packed in Australia.

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Refrigeration is not required.
