Overview

OPSITE Post-Op is a breathable1, bacteria-proof2, and waterproof dressing1 with REACTICTM film technology1. OPSITE Post-Op lasts for up to 7 days.

OPSITE Post-Op waterproof dressing1 is suitable for minor cuts, grazes and stitches. It’s low allergy adhesive also helps to minimise the risk of skin irritation3. OPSITE Post-OP uses REACTIC film technology allowing excess moisture to evaporate, which may help to minimise the risk of skin damage when exposed to moisture for a long period of time1. The top film acts as a bacterial barrier to protect the site against germs and dirt, which may help to minimise the risk of infection2.

Instructions

DIRECTIONS:

1. Wash hands before and after treating the wound.
2. Gently clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin. NB. Stop any bleeding (apply pressure if necessary) and ensure that the skin is completely dry around the wound.
3. Remove dressing from pouch.
4. Remove the top release paper marked “1”.
5. Place the dressing using light pressure.
6. Remove the second release paper marked “1” and smooth the dressing down.
7. Remove the top covering marked "2".
8. To remove the dressing, lift one corner and slowly stretch the film in a motion that is parallel to the skin.
