This product is intended for the intermittent measurement of human body temperature from the skin surface of forehead. The device can be used by people of all ages for home use and clinical use.This device is intended for multiple-patient, multiple-use, when used inaccordance with the cleaning and maintenance instructions in this manual.
Instructions
SAFETY DIRECTIONS:•This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lacking experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received and understand the instructions/ safety warnings for use of the product from this person in advance.
•A high or prolonged fever requires medical attention, especially for young children. Always consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist.
•Conducting self-diagnosis based on the measurement results and/or treatment can be dangerous.Please follow the instructions of your doctor.
•If the product has been stored in a different temperature environment, allow it to acclimate to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before use.
•Users must be indoors for at least 30 minutes before taking a measurement and both the user and the product must remain in the same ambient temperature for a minimum of 1O minutes prior to measurement.
•To ensure an accurate reading, avoid taking measurements immediately after exercise,bathing,showering, eating,drinking, breastteeding,hair drying, or exposure to extreme temperatures (hot or cold).
•Remove hats or hair from the forehead and wait 1O minutes before taking a reading.
•DO NOT measure temperature if the forehead is sweaty, oily, covered,
or affected by cosmetics or pressure marks.
•Always ensure the forehead is clean and fully dry before taking a reading.
•Avoid measuring temperature over areas with scars, open wounds, or skin abrasions
•DO NOT use the product if it is wet, as this may result in inaccurate readings.
•DO NOT allow children to play with the product. It is not a toy.
•Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.
•If a child swallows a battery, seek immediate medical attention.
•DO NOT touch or breathe on the infrared sensor. The sensor lens is a delicate component - handle and clean it with care according to the cleaning instructions.
•DO NOT clean the sensor or product using cotton buds,as fibres may
enter the sensor area and interfere with measurement accuracy.
•Follow the cleaning instructions carefully. DO NOT clean or disinfect the
product while in use.
After cleaning, allow at least 1O minutes drying time before taking a reading
•DO NOT attempt to open or disassemble the product. Only the battery compartment may be opened to replace the battery.
•DO NOT expose the product to direct sunlight,extreme temperatures (above 55 °C),or high humidity.
•DO NOT drop, step, or place heavy objects on the product,as it is a
precision instrument.
•DO NOT use the product in MRI, CT,or other high-care electromagnetic
environments.
•The product requires no calibration. The product has been calibrated before the factory inspection.
•The product contains no user serviceable parts.
•The user must ensure the product is safe and functioning correctly before each use.
•DO NOT modify the product in any way. Unauthorised modification may impair safety and performance.
•This product is equipped with a CR2032 button battery. Incorrect use may cause the battery to leak, overheat, explode or ignite, resulting in injury or damage.
•Only use battery type specified for this product.
•DO NOT immerse the product in water or any liquids.
•Periodically check the battery to ensure it is in good working condition.
•DO NOT throw batteries into a fire. The battery may explode.
•Remove battery from the product if it will not be used for an extended period.
•During a measurement,ensure that no mobile phone or other electrical devices that emit electromagnetic field is within 30 cm of this product, as this may result in incorrect operation or an inaccurate reading.

PRODUCT WARNINGS:WARNING – KEEP BUTTON BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
•Button batteries are hazardous (whether the battery is new or used).
•Swallowing or insertion of a button battery into any part of the body can cause serious injuries.
•If you suspect your child/a person has swallowed or inserted a button battery inside their body, medical attention should be sought immediately. You can also call the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 (Australia) or 0800 764 766 (New Zealand) for 24/7 fast, expert advice.
•Examine the product to make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured, e.g. that the screw or other mechanical fastener is tightened. Do not use if compartment is not secure.
•If removing the battery from the product, ensure it is stored in a safe place out of reach of children.
•Dispose of used button batteries immediately and safely according to current local regulations.
•Tell others about the risk associated with button batteries and how to keep their children safe.
